and tired of mice

saw one audaciously run past as I watch late night news and literally JUMP OVER the glue trap!

was convinced most scrabbling came from the hall cupboard...so cleared out the hall cupboard, to find droppings everywhere, including inside bags that had been hung up on high pegs...so they are climbing the walls?

so, I have a lunchtime date with Colin the pest control man.

meantime, score two - small mice in the glue trap in the fireplace. But small mice must have come from big mice...eeek!

and now the flood!

now the garden is under water!

and i cannot remember what is sitting on the floor of the shed...but am not sure if it is waterproof.... will the lawnmower work again?

On the mouse front: one mouse, grey, caught in the sticky trap....

lice and mice

aargh. had to get the pest control man in after finding six dead mice on the glue trap. and heard them squealing in the nite. landlady very nice, organized pest control. he has put more glue traps and super bait. since then - no rustling! maybe the catch six at once did the trick...

meanwhile, another lice infestation. and after one treatment, had call from after school club - "L has a severe infestation!". i mutter about having just treated her but promise to be good and re-treat...all of us.

we never had nits/lice in my day!
